Edward Jones – Financial Advisor: Justin L Haymore
The desire to become a financial advisor began when I heard someone say, “always pay yourself first. Put some away for a rainy day and put some away for retirement.” This led me down a path that I wanted to share. Today, I get so excited when clients make the transition from their working years to retirement because they made the commitment to pay themselves first.
I grew up in Sierra Vista. I graduated from Arizona Western College where I played soccer and graduated from ASU with a business degree. I worked for a bank for 13 years as a business relations manager. Fortunately, my brother-in-law is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, and he asked me to become part of the Edward Jones family. I began in 2012 and became a limited partner in 2018. I currently mentor new financial advisors and I have been recognized by the firm for various accomplishments.
I lived in Phoenix for a while before moving back to Sierra Vista. I have 5 children, Taylor (22), Hallie (19), Karlie (15), Jaycie (12) and Ty (7). I enjoy watching them grow and thrive through their various activities. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors, biking, camping, 4-wheeling and horseback riding, and my most favorite is long distance backpacking. In 2017, I hiked over 100 miles in 6 days on the Sierra Nevada Trail. In 2019, I did a similar solo hike. This experience really gives me a chance to meditate, refocus, rejuvenate and challenge myself.
